ML Consulting is an Early Childhood Education consulting service. Our program looks to ensure that Early Childhood Educators leave every workshop with essential tools that can be added to the classroom culture.
What We Do
We serve preschool programs including teachers, directors, and mentor groups. We look to provide enhanced adult supervision, curriculum enhancement, classroom behavior management, and through thorough professional development training and on-site consulting.

- Active Listening and open communication from caregiver to children, caregiver to administration, families to programs, etc. (seeing with their ears, seeing with their nose, etc.)
Services We Provide
ECE Conferences / Workshops
Every workshop is set up with an activity ready when participants enter the room (i.e. art, block play, Q&A questionnaire, etc.).
Each training consists of an interactive PowerPoint presentation detailing the subject and strategies with examples and discussion. These are activities that will give the participants a clear understanding of the content for later use in the classroom.

Positive Behavior Management Part 1 (Back to Basics)
Target Audience: Teachers / Parents / Directors / ECE Programs
Kids have been at home the last few years due to Covid, and many challenging behaviors have intensified. This presentation gives participants an introduction to behavior management in the classroom environment. We’ll briefly go over various aspects of understanding why challenging behaviors occur, and the skills to change them around to more appropriate ones. The workshop comes from a hybrid perspective from early childhood education as well as applied behavior analysis.
Positive Behavior Management Part 2 (The Next Level)

This presentation teaches the next level of behavior management in the classroom environment. We’ll briefly go over terms and strategies to help recognize and modify problem behaviors. The workshop continues to use a hybrid perspective from early childhood education as well as applied behavior analysis.
Incidental Teaching – Learning to Play with Kids
Target Audience: Teachers / Parents / Directors / ECE Programs
This presentation will discuss how adults can contrive opportunities to develop various skills through play. It will also discuss the meaning and importance of play, and train adults on how to play with children through role-play.
How to Use Puppets in the Child Care Setting

This presentation introduces participants to the fun world of puppetry. We’ll go over everything from discussions on the benefits of using puppets in the classroom environment to how to the mechanics of puppeteering. Best of all, we’ll get to use real live professional puppets!
Learning Through Music – How to improve Circle Time
Target Audience: Teachers / Parents / Directors / ECE Programs
This presentation will go over some tips and skills on how to enhance Circle Time. Mr. Markus dives right in with high energy, singing guitar playing, and using puppets. We’ll let the kid out by talking about various aspects of Circle Time, moving our bodies, sharing songs and have lots of fun
Building Blocks to Become a Leader
Target Audience: Directors / Administration / Mentors
We introduce a fresh take on the basic blueprints of leadership. What are the imperative skills needed to take a leadership role in Early Childhood Education and how to prepare for the experience? Professor Law will introduce his spin on the Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership and the Leadership Development Resources according to the Leadership Practices Inventory. If time permits, there will be an open discussion regarding the culture of leadership.
